Creatinine Test
This test measures creatinine levels in a sample of your blood and/or urine (pee). Creatinine is a normal waste product in your body. It's made when you use your muscles and some of the muscle tissue breaks down.

Tests
This test measures the levels of DHEA sulfate (DHEAS) in your blood. DHEAS stands for dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate. DHEAS is mostly made in the adrenal glands, two small glands located above your kidneys. Your adrenal glands help control your heart rate, blood pressure, and other body functions. They make different types of hormones you need to stay healthy. This includes cortisol, a hormone that helps with your immune system , and DHEAS, a steroid hormone.

Tests
Epithelial cells cover the inside and outside of the surfaces of your body. They are found on your skin, blood vessels, and organs, including your urinary tract (which includes your kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra).
Tests
Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and GFR tests check how well your kidneys are working. Your kidneys are two organs on either side of your spine just below your rib cage. They have tiny filters called glomeruli. These filters remove waste and extra water from your blood and get rid of them through your urine (pee).
Indicators
GGT participates in the transfer of amino acids across the cellular membrane and in glutathione metabolism. High concentrations are found in the liver, bile ducts, and the kidney. A test that measures the amount of GGT in the blood is used to detect diseases of the liver, bile ducts, and kidney; and to differentiate liver or bile duct (hepatobiliary) disorders from bone disease.
Tests
Globulins are a group of proteins in your blood. Some globulins are made by your liver. Others are made by your immune system . Globulins play an important role in liver and kidney function, blood clotting, and fighting infection. There are different types of globulins called alpha, beta, and gamma globulins. Tests to measure globulins include:
Indicators
A nonessential amino acid. Glutamine can donate the ammonia on its side chain to the formation of urea (for eventual excretion by the kidneys) and to purines (necessary for the synthesis of nucleic acids). Glutamic acid-to-glutamine conversion, in which an ammonia group is added to glutamic acid (catalyzed by glutamine synthase), is of central importance in the regulation of toxic levels of ammonia in the body. This agent is a substrate for the production of both excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitters (glutamate and GABA) and is also an important source of energy for the nervous system. Glutamine may become a conditionally essential amino acid during certain catabolic states.
Indicators
Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1 (359 aa, ~39 kDa) is encoded by the human HAVCR1 gene. This protein is involved in the modulation of asthma and allergic reactions.
Tests
The determination of the amount of kidney injury molecule-1 present in a sample.
Tests
The determination of the amount of liver kidney microsomal type 1 IgG antibody present in a sample.
